Fresh Start is a Housing Support and Support Services program operated by the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC). As an Indigenous Housing First initiative, Fresh Start is tailored to assist a caseload of 42 Community Members by providing comprehensive support aimed at securing and maintaining stable housing. The program focuses on delivering personalized assistance to each participant, facilitating successful housing placements and long-term stability.
The program extends beyond just housing support, incorporating services that promote Economic, Social, and Community Integration. These services are crafted to aid participants in achieving financial independence, fostering connections within their communities, and participating in social activities that contribute to their overall well-being.
By addressing multiple aspects of life, Fresh Start enhances participants' ability to integrate successfully into society, promoting not only housing stability but also enriching their community involvement and social relationships. This holistic approach is designed to empower participants, supporting their journey towards a balanced and selfsufficient lifestyle.
