Housing Supports Initiative is a Prevention/Shelter Diversion project operated by West Broadway Development Corporation. The project is crucial in supporting individuals in the West Broadway neighborhood who are facing eviction or homelessness.

The West Broadway Housing Support Initiatives provide low-barrier, one-on-one support to residents at risk of or currently experiencing eviction. By educating individuals on tenant rights and responsibilities, assisting with securing safe, low-income accommodations, and connecting them with local resources, the project helps community members stabilize their housing situations. This proactive approach is designed to prevent evictions and reduce homelessness in the area.

The project's goal is to decrease the number of community members evicted or forced into homelessness. Its support not only helps individuals maintain their current housing but also aids in securing future stable living conditions, fostering a more resilient community.
