Description

This project will construct a four-storey complex. Upon completion, it will create 12 transitional housing units: four one-bedroom units, four two-bedroom units, and four three-bedroom units. The facility will provide housing for Inuit women and children who are escaping gender-based violence, experiencing homelessness, or working toward recovery and healing. Once operational, it will also offer child-minding services and workshops focused on healing.
