Despite how common it is, depression is often misunderstood, leaving many people feeling isolated or unsure of how to get help. This session offers an in-depth look at what depression really is, how it can appear in different ways, and the signs and symptoms to watch for in yourself or others. Participants will explore the various types of depression, learn practical strategies for managing symptoms, and discover helpful supports and resources for navigating challenging times. This session empowers participants to better understand depression, reduce self-criticism and stigma, and create a personalized approach to nurturing their mental health and overall well-being.
