2015 Winnipeg Street Census

On 25th October 2015, Winnipeg conducted its inaugural Street Census, providing a comprehensive snapshot of homelessness in the city.

The census gathered data from individuals experiencing various forms of homelessness, including those unsheltered, in emergency shelters, transitional housing, or temporarily staying with others.

The findings offered critical insights into the demographics, experiences, and challenges faced by this population, informing policies and initiatives aimed at addressing homelessness in Winnipeg.
