Access Points are the heart of Winnipeg's Coordinated Access system, where people experiencing or at risk of homelessness are first welcomed into care.

These are community-based locations where trained staff provide culturally safe, trauma-informed support and complete standardized triage and assessments.

The goal is to ensure individuals and families receive appropriate, timely, and respectful referrals to housing and support services that meet their unique needs.

How to Get Help from Naatamooskakowin Coordinated Access

Visit an Access Point of your choice and speak with a Support Worker. They will listen to your story and help you complete a Coordinated Entry Form (CEF). Help is also available through Coordinated Access Intake and Outreach Workers at pop-up locations throughout the community.

To Make an Appointment

  • Call the Access Point that is most accessible to you, OR
  • Ask for a current list of Access Points from an emergency shelter, OR
  • Ask your support worker/service provider to make an appointment for you.
  • At the appointment, the Support Worker will listen to your story.
  • After the appointment, Naatamooskakowin staff will review the information you shared and match you with a housing program for supports that fit your needs.
